Dining on campus isn’t one size fits all. Our meal plans were designed with you in mind. If you are looking to enjoy a meal with friends or just a snack on the go – we’ve got a plan to fit every appetite.

We’ve kept what’s most important to you in mind, building in the convenience, flexibility, quality, value and healthy options you deserve. Explore our meal plan options to learn more about what would be the best fit for you.

  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
    All students living on campus are required to purchase the All Access Meal Plan which will be automatically assigned to you; the cost is included in your room and board!

    All full time commuter students and campus house/apartment residents are required to purchase the Commuter Plan which will be automatically assigned to you; the cost is included in your room and board! There are optional meal plan upgrades available for these students: Gold Plan, Blue Plan, Knight Plan. Explore our meal plan options to learn more about what would be the best fit for you.

    If you need additional spending money at any time during the semester you can add Knight Bucks to any of our meal plans. If you want additional Knight Bucks added to your card please visit the Dining Office in Clare Hall 186.
  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester? 
    Yes but only from Fall to Spring semester of the same academic year. If you need additional Knight Bucks added to your card throughout the semester please visit the Dining Office in Clare Hall 186.
     
  • Will unused meals or FLEX Dollars roll over? 
    Any remaining meals or flex dollars associated with your meal plan will not carry forward to the next semester. Any add-on/ unspent Knight Bucks will carry over to the next semester. 

  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
    Voluntary meals plans may be added at any time. Changes must be made within the first two weeks of the semester. All meal plan change requests should be communicated by contacting the Campus Dining Office at 317.955.6410 or through the Housing & Residence Life Office at 317.955.6318 or housing@marian.edu

  • Can I use national brand giftcards on campus?
    Starbucks and Subway are the only national brands on campus that accept giftcards. Additionally, if you are a Starbucks Rewards Member, you can earn stars at our campus location but cannot redeem rewards.
Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

Required Meal Plans
Students will be assigned to these plans through the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
Voluntary Meal Plans
Upgrade from the Commuter Plan to a voluntary plan for increased convenience and value! Specifically tailored with flexibility in mind, these plans are great options for graduate students and those not required to be on a plan. All voluntary plans are offered in blocks of meals that can be used at any time, and include FLEX dollars that can be used at any on campus dining location. 
Faculty and Staff
For ultimate convenience and flexibility, the faculty & staff plan includes 20 all-you-care to eat meals in the dining commons (thats only $5 per meal!) and 50 Knight Bucks to use at any retail location.
Knight Bucks
Running low on FLEX? Purchase Knight Bucks here, or stop by the dining services office, in Clare Hall Room 186, to bill your student account. Super Value Stretcher! Did you know we offer a 10% bonus to any Knight Bucks purchase of $100 or more.
